This position is accountable for those pharmacy services which require pharmaceutical education and state licensure; leadership experience and extensive clinical and professional judgment to provide quality care to Med/Surg patients. This vital resource works to establish clinical practices consisting of drug reviews for appropriateness, drug monitoring, participating in trauma codes and active involvement in the management of Med/Surg patients. These duties are performed according to departmental policies and procedures, and as scheduled by the supervisory staff.
