About The Position

UT Tyler School of Medicine - UT Health East Texas Physicians - Rusk RHC is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join the Rusk team. This faculty position is employed by the University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine and will practice in UT Health East Texas facilities. The Rusk Rural Health clinic team currently consists of 2 FM NPs and 1 FM PA. The average daily patient volume is 18-22, with a schedule of 4 clinic days per week. The position includes clinic call, with lab and X-ray onsite. The clinic is located 15 minutes from UT Health Jacksonville hospital campus. There are teaching opportunities available with students, residents, and fellows. The clinic utilizes Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding, contributing to better work-life balance and revenue.

Requirements

BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician
Must be able to obtain a Texas Medical License
Must be able to obtain DEA registration

Nice To Haves

Experience with Epic EMR
Experience with AI scribe technology

Responsibilities

Practice Internal Medicine or Family Medicine in an outpatient setting.
Manage an average daily patient volume of 18-22 patients.
Participate in clinic call.
