Internal IT Systems Engineer
About The Position
Eagle Media is seeking an Internal IT Systems Engineer to join its team of employee-owners. The position may be located flexibly across the company’s broadcast footprint in Kansas, Nebraska, and Missouri, and requires travel across that footprint as necessary. The engineer oversees the operation of internal IT systems, researches new technologies, manages servers, administers email and office collaboration systems, and purchases and installs hardware and software. Applicants must have a proven history administering IT systems in a commercial business environment, knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals, and the ability to maintain them in working order. Experience managing wired and wireless networks is also required. The selected candidate must pass criminal history and motor vehicle background checks.
Requirements
- Proven history of administering IT systems in a commercial business environment.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and peripherals, and the ability to maintain their intended working operation.
- Experience managing wired and wireless networks.
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively to IT issues, including copier, scanner, and printer problems.
- Ability to travel across the company footprint as necessary.
- Must pass a criminal history background check and motor vehicle check.
