About The Position

The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, planning, managing, and executing internal content delivery across the enterprise. This role will play an integral part in the development of all internal communications and intranet content to support associate engagement throughout Inovalon. This includes partnering with leaders and key stakeholders to develop and deliver content that effectively informs and engages associates across the enterprise.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience in communications, PR/media relations, community engagement and/or social/community platforms
Previous content management experience
Experience using analytics tools to track and report on content performance
Exceptional communication skills
Very high attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent time management skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills
Ability to multi-task with close attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure & meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Works with the Director, Internal Communications & Operations to lead and execute content development in support of overall communication strategies
Builds relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure content development priorities are aligned and follow established communications processes, procedures and policies
Collaborates with functions across the business via the Communications Council to develop content and communications for the overall Inovalon enterprise as needed
Manages the enterprise communications calendar, ensuring appropriate cadence, channel alignment, and coordination across internal platforms
Partners with stakeholders to develop, copy edit, and publish content to nova, Inovalon's company intranet, in alignment with brand standards and the communications calendar
Supports the development of town hall content, including talking points and slide materials, and collaborates with the Marketing Communications team on production logistics
Supports the planning and execution of ONE Inovalon Connect, a monthly all-company meeting, including agenda development and content gathering across stakeholders
Measures the success of internal communications, reports on trends, and advises on potential opportunities or risks
Ensures company messages are consistent across all associate audiences and connected to overarching goals and initiatives
Other duties as requested and/or determined
Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement
Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position
