The Internal Communications Specialist plays a hands-on role in the Communications Division. This position is responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of Service Oklahoma’s mission-driven internal communications strategy. This position will lead internal storytelling through close collaboration with their supervisor. In addition, they’ll be responsible for the development of a comprehensive communications calendar. The Specialist will support employee culture and engagement efforts while managing all internal communications including regular email updates, twice monthly newsletters and the agency’s intranet. This role also tracks performance analytics, employee surveys and other data points to inform and adjust Service Oklahoma’s internal communications strategy. This position is essential to internal communications of all Service Oklahoma employees across the state. Your work will help improve access to information, encourage event participation, and strengthen trust within the agency.
