About The Position

Engine is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join their Go-To-Market (GTM) teams. This role is crucial for supporting the rapid growth and strategy execution within the Partnerships, Business Development, Sales, and Expansion departments. The Internal Communications Manager will act as a trusted communications advisor to senior leadership, ensuring clarity, alignment, and effective change management across a large, hybrid workforce. The position requires a fast-paced, proactive approach to communication, utilizing platforms like Slack, weekly all-hands meetings, quarterly town halls, and an annual company summit to disseminate information and foster engagement.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in internal communications, executive communications, or GTM enablement, ideally in a fast-scaling tech, SaaS, or B2B environment.
  • A track record supporting senior commercial leaders (CBO, CRO, VP Sales, VP Partnerships, VP Business Development).
  • Deep fluency with GTM motions, understanding how sales, account management, partnerships, and business development operate.
  • Ability to translate commercial strategy into language that resonates with frontline teams.
  • Exceptional writing and editorial instincts, with the ability to shift voice and tighten messages.
  • A strong operator's mindset, capable of building plans, sequencing messages, and managing communications as a program.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and partnering with leaders through periods of transition and change.
  • Discretion, integrity, and maturity to handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

  • Embed with GTM leadership to serve as the go-to communications partner for the Chief Business Officer and leaders across Partnerships, Business Development, Sales, and Expansion.
  • Build a deep understanding of GTM teams, priorities, and communication needs.
  • Translate GTM strategy into clear, compelling communications that resonate across the commercial organization and the broader company.
  • Own the communications strategy and execution for major GTM moments, including sales kickoffs, QBRs, incentive rollouts, organizational changes, leadership transitions, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Write and produce materials for GTM all-hands, town halls, leader videos, executive memos, and manager cascades.
  • Partner with Product Delivery, Marketing, People, and Finance to ensure GTM communications are consistent, energetic, and impactful.
  • Support GTM leaders with their own communications, from written memos to live all-hands presentations.
  • Design and maintain repeatable projects, agents, and automations using AI to capture templated approaches and learn individual leader tones of voice, enabling scalable communications and self-service for leaders.
