Internal Audit Summer Intern
About The Position
Arch’s internship program gives students hands-on experience in the insurance industry through challenging learning experiences, professional skill development, learning activities, and ongoing feedback. The Internal Audit Summer Intern contributes to the Internal Audit department’s systematic, disciplined approach to assessing the effectiveness of Arch’s processes and controls across business segments and functional areas. The intern serves on Audit/Advisory projects and/or SOX program efforts, contributes to process automation, analytics, and Copilot projects, and assists with related project tasks such as updating project plans, supporting Audit/SOX testing, and summarizing data sets. The program runs from June 2, 2027, through August 6, 2027. The position is hybrid, with two days onsite and three days working from home, and is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Relocation and housing assistance are not provided. The hourly rate for individuals assigned to or hired to work in Raleigh is $24 as of the posting date. The intern is eligible for select Arch benefits.
Requirements
- Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, or a related program.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Junior or senior college student graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to be a continuous learner.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Interest in the insurance and/or financial services industries.
- Experience using Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic exposure to data analytics and AI tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or Copilot.
Responsibilities
