About The Position

Citi’s Internal Audit Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week internship in New York, NY, beginning in June. The program combines structured classroom training, mentoring, individual development, networking opportunities, and practical work. Summer Analysts face off into one of Citi’s core businesses or global functions, helping ensure a sound control framework and environment through the delivery of independent and timely assurance.

The program begins with a three-day training program introducing Citi and its Internal Audit Organization. Participants receive senior and junior mentors, attend networking opportunities and senior speaker events, and gain cross-functional exposure. They complete real-world work and are expected to add value to their teams. At the end of the program, Summer Analysts present their accomplishments and lessons learned to Senior IA Management. Top-performing participants may be considered for full-time Internal Audit Analyst Programs.

Requirements

• Graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2027 and June 2028.
• Will not require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization now or at any time in the future.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to cooperate and focus on achieving group and client objectives.
• Innovative and creative problem-solving ability.
• Hardworking, quick-thinking, and detail-oriented.
• Intellectually curious and willing to ask questions.
• Ability to multitask.

Nice To Haves

• At least a 3.3 GPA is preferred.
• Finance education or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent and timely assurance to help ensure a sound control framework and environment across a Citi core business or global function.
• Complete real-world work and add value to the assigned team during the 10-week program.
• Present accomplishments and lessons learned to Senior IA Management at the conclusion of the program.
