Internal Audit Intern - Spring & Summer 2027 (Peoria, IL)
About The Position
RLI’s paid, hands-on internship offers students practical industry knowledge, opportunities to network with RLI professionals, skill development, and on-the-job learning. Under frequent supervision, the Internal Audit Intern gains a broad understanding of RLI’s business through real-world experience and training. Interns complete project-based assignments, work alongside experienced professionals and fellow interns, and attend educational and social activities to learn about the business and build professional connections. Typical hours vary by season: 10–15 hours per week during the school year and 30 or more hours per week during the summer.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a college degree.
- 0–2 years of experience in a related field or position.
- Ability to analyze and resolve basic issues.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Critical-thinking and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Integrity and reliability.
- Technical accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Complete project-based assignments as assigned.
