Protiviti’s Internal Audit and Financial Advisory interns work with clients, typically leading global companies, to help deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems. Interns may work across industries and participate in internal initiatives, receiving hands-on training and developing technical, professional, and leadership capabilities. The internship includes Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding, The Intern Challenge experiential learning course, and a preview of Foundations, Protiviti’s entry-level full-time career opportunity. Interns are hired into either Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory. Business Process Audit and Advisory focuses on assessing business processes, emerging risks, regulatory and compliance requirements, controls, security, corporate governance, and operational efficiency. Technology Audit and Advisory addresses technology-related risks and opportunities, including cybersecurity, AI risk, data governance, cloud, privacy, software development, technology resilience, controls, compliance, and technology governance. Protiviti uses a hybrid work model combining in-person and remote work. Interns may work in local Protiviti offices and at client sites, with local or out-of-state travel depending on client and project needs. Interns are expected to be available to work in the designated location during business hours for the entire internship. Interns do not accrue company-paid Choice Time Off.
