This internship works with young children ages 1.5 - 6 and their families. The internship is within a clinic setting in Clarksville, TN.

Requirements

Working toward a bachelor’s/master’s degree in public health, social sciences, or related field
Interest in gaining experience working with children and their families
Demonstrated history of being able to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Ability to work with data; detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to commit to 20-40 hours a week

Nice To Haves

Students will have hands on experience interacting with clients.
Students will have the opportunity to enhance professional skills.
Students will gain experience and training on Microsoft Excel, while learning to clean and analyze data sets.
Students will learn to navigate data visualization and storytelling through creating one pagers and other presentations.

Responsibilities

Supervised and trained by Centerstone staff
Conduct tasks with individuals and their families who are receiving mental & behavioral health services
Take client data
Observe and participate in case management
Conduct 1-3 meetings with parents during time of internship
Participate in program duties to ensure program runs smoothly
