About The Position
Fehr Graham is a fast-growing Midwest engineering and environmental firm seeking motivated Civil Engineering students who are eager to learn and work on a wide range of projects, including municipal engineering and environmental engineering. This internship offers a chance to grow skills, gain hands-on experience, and be part of a team that values unique perspectives. The position is based in one of their 12 local offices in IL, IA & WI. Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Civil Engineering.
- Familiar with or able to read blueprints.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Strong speaking and writing skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Self-starters and eager to learn.

Responsibilities
- Assist with construction observation, including measuring quantities and ensuring construction is completed to standards.
- Review and edit engineering plans to create a product that meets Fehr Graham standards.
- Sharpen CAD skills, complete basic design computations, and help the project team complete deliverables.
- Learn engineering standards and how state and local regulations are incorporated into design.
- Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and other team members.
- Develop leadership skills that build autonomy.
