ESPN Madison Spring 2027 Internship
About The Position
ESPN Madison is recruiting college students for a paid internship during the Spring 2027 semester. The internship offers hands-on experience in sports marketing and media, including new business development, promotional event marketing, and sports content creation. ESPN Madison is a sports marketing entity with assets such as ESPN Madison WTLX 100.5 FM. The internship runs approximately 8–15 hours per week from late January through April or May 2027. Interns are paid $14.00 per hour and gain experience in marketing, sales, and content. Teammates are encouraged to learn continuously, represent Good Karma Sports’ story and core values, build relationships, and seek opportunities throughout the company. Good Karma Sports is a sports media and marketing company that develops and executes multi-platform strategies across audio, podcasts, video, digital, social, talent, live experiences, and premium sports partnerships. Requirements
- Must be a college student, as the internship is recruiting college students for the Spring 2027 semester.
- Be an organized self-starter.
- Have an interest in hands-on experience in new business development, promotional event marketing, and sports content creation.
Responsibilities
- Take initiative to learn all aspects of the business, with the goal of becoming competent in marketing execution, the Good Karma Sports partner acquisition process, and Good Karma’s content creation strategies and best practices.
- Assist with event planning, setup, execution, and breakdown.
- Engage and interact with local partners and fans during events.
- Complete other assigned tasks.
- Represent Good Karma Sports as an ambassador by adhering to its core values: Be Honest, Work Hard, Over Deliver, Listen, Teamwork, and Follow Through.
