About The Position

Holly Hill Child & Family Solutions is seeking Interns (Graduate & Undergraduate) to join their team. This is an opportunity for students in Health Services or Social Work to gain experience in a non-profit community-based organization focused on strengthening the lives of children. Interns will be responsible for completing required orientation, developing University learning contracts, and becoming familiar with case record requirements. They will also learn about intake procedures, potentially participate in them, and assist with reception and enrollment duties. The role requires the ability to work independently, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, professionalism, and reliable transportation. Experience in a substance abuse facility or working with children, adolescents, and adults is a plus.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and Graduate Students in Health Services or Social Work.
• Strong communication skills among patients and within all necessary departments
• Ability to work independently
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite software
• Professionalism ability
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a substance abuse facility is a plus
• Experience in working with children, adolescents and adults is desired

Responsibilities

• Complete required orientation

• Learn about intake procedures and participate if appropriate. This include reception duties (phone) and enrollment responsibilities.
