About The Position

Legacy Mutual Mortgage is a full-service residential mortgage lender established in 2005, specializing in originating, underwriting, and closing conventional, jumbo, FHA, VA, and USDA mortgage loans. This Intern position involves performing intermediate-level loan administration work under moderate supervision, assisting a Loan Officer.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED; business-related degree focus in pursuance of degree from a university or college.
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office.
Must have general knowledge of office equipment and systems used for the storage and retrieval of business information.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

Interest in or knowledge of mortgage industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists with the closing of loans by scanning and preparing loan closing documents and related materials, as directed.
Enters data into systems, such as Encompass and Outlook calendars, to update client information.
Assists in setting up events, as directed.
Prepares greeting correspondence to clients.
Provides closing gifts to clients.
Assists in client meetings, as directed.
Learn resources and techniques in conducting business with current clients and prospecting new clients.
Lead intake - thorough notes and set up for production team.
Lasting impressions -helping organize CRM and keeping contact with past clients through mailers/electronic mail/social media.
In process updates - setting up reoccurring weekly updates for clients and agents.
Attend team meetings and participates, if applicable.
Complete special business projects, as assigned.
Must maintain regular attendance.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Other duties as needed by production, and operation team.
