Intern - Transportation Planning (Summer 2027)
About The Position
HNTB is seeking a Transportation Planning intern for Summer 2027 in Bellevue or Seattle, Washington. Under close supervision, the intern assists departments with basic assignments in areas including science, planning, and technology. The position is usually part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Relocation and housing are not provided. Visa sponsorship is not available. The approximate pay range for Washington is $25.28–$37.92. The stated range is a good-faith estimate for the selected locations in the state; actual compensation depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and physical work location.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Planning, or another relevant field of study.
- Interest in infrastructure and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in developing graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
