About The Position

Steer is seeking an intern to support its Transportation Demand Management (TDM) team. This role will be a remote position within the Northern Colorado Region, specifically along the US 34 corridor from Kersey to Estes Park. The intern will primarily support the GoNoCo34 Transportation Management Organization (TMO) project. This internship offers the opportunity to report directly to the Executive Director of the GoNoco34 TMO, managed by Steer, and potentially support the Burbank TMO in Southern California and other transportation planning projects. Steer is a global employee-owned business consultancy specializing in transportation, cities, and infrastructure, with a commitment to social and environmental impact, aiming to be a Net Zero Carbon company by 2025.

Responsibilities

  • Representing the TMO at community events (online and/or in person).
  • Acting as a liaison with TMO members and stakeholders.
  • Designing email marketing and social media campaigns.
  • Website coordination (update members, upcoming events, flyer campaigns).
  • Capturing monthly board meeting minutes, facilitating recording both verbal and written for TMO board.
  • Supporting membership growth among local employers, developers, community non-profits and regional stakeholders.
  • Coordinating administrative activities such as bus pass orders, vanpool incentive programs and general office management.
  • Aiding with other projects, such as marketing design, mapping, report writing and data analysis, as needed.
