Intern, Ticket Sales & Service - Winter
About The Position
The Columbus Crew is seeking college students interested in developing skills and gaining firsthand experience in the professional sports industry as a Client Services/Ticket Sales Intern. The intern will be supervised by the Director Client Services and Manager of Season Ticket Sales and will learn about the coordination and administration of ticket sales, fan service, ticket operations, grassroots event operations, and game day operations. This internship is designed for college students who need an internship to receive college credit. The winter internship runs from January through April.
Requirements
- Must receive college credit for an internship with Columbus Crew.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and enthusiastic about working in a sports-related environment.
- Creative, outgoing self-starter.
Nice To Haves
- Background in sales, marketing, business, customer service, or communications is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily correspondence to Columbus Crew guests and clients.
- Deliver superior customer service and exceed fan expectations.
- Research customer retention strategies.
- Perform administrative office duties, including filing, organizing, data entry, and mailing.
- Assist in planning and implementing special marketing events and promotions.
- Work closely with sales staff to fulfill orders.
- Assist with ticket sales activities and events, including receptions and game day entertainment.
- Contribute ideas and proposals to brainstorming, planning, and implementing ticket sales plans.
