Our Strategy & Economy team is looking for future interns ready to join us in 2027 for one of the following periods: Winter 2027 (January to April 2027), Summer 2027 (May to August 2027), Fall 2027 (September to December 2027). The deadline to submit your application is September 13, 2026, at 11:59 PM. We are seeking undergraduate showing knowledge of strategy and/or in economics and/or public policy students to join the team as an intern. KPMG is seeking a skilled, dynamic person to join the Economics and Strategy team of Advisory Services, a person with an outstanding work record and strong analytical, writing and communication skills along with proven teamwork abilities. The intern will work within a dynamic and experienced team that advises public, private and not for profit clients on matters related to strategy and economics, helping to perform a broad range of projects.

Requirements

  • Excellent undergraduate or graduate academic record, preferably in Economics, Strategy, or any other pertinent technology programs.
  • Experience developing compelling presentations and reports.
  • Excellent teamwork and relationship building skills.
  • A proven track record of being able to take initiative, exercise sound judgment, analyze and solve problems.
  • A proven ability to handle a broad range of activities with competing priorities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills that will enable you to easily interact with clients, colleagues, and the wider community.
  • A commitment to continual learning – developing new skills, taking on new responsibilities and broadening your knowledge through research.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English.
  • Daily communications with stake holders that only speak English, within and outside of Quebec which requires excellent skills in both written and spoke form.
  • The candidate will be mandated to create documentation in both languages regularly.

  • Contribute to key initiatives related to Quebec and Canadian economic development
  • Support businesses and various organizations with an array of strategic issue reviews related to development
  • Work on qualitative and quantitative analysis, involving in particular statistics, partially structured interviews, discussion groups and literature reviews
  • Summarize studies and broad findings in the form of presentations and reports well expressed in excellent French and English using Word and PowerPoint
  • Support the growth of the firm and the practice by taking part in various intellectual initiative
