About The Position
INTERNSHIP SUMMARY: Students will be supervised by a Licensed Social Worker at our Magnolia Brances facility in Ft. Worth, TX. Learn how our facility impacts the community and participate in treatment teams with a multidisciplinary team approach. This is an unpaid internship. LOCATION: 1307 8th Ave, Floor 5, Fort Worth, TX 76104
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program for social work, counseling or other related field and has met the requirements to participate in a practicum/internship
- Letter of recommendation from Practicum Advisor
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling or another related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Successful completion of background and drug screenings
Responsibilities
- Conduct Bio-psychosocial assessments
- Discharge planning and identifying resources within the community for aftercare
- Psychoeducational groups and therapeutic processing groups
