Level III internships are advanced supervised learning experiences designed for students currently enrolled in a public or accredited private academic institution and pursuing graduate-level counseling, social work, or similar programs. This level provides opportunities for students to gain experience through supervised clinical practice, direct client service, and professional skill development through interdisciplinary collaboration. Interns may participate in approved clinical activities including co-facilitation, treatment planning exposure, documentation practices, and other supervised behavioral health services. These internships are intended for students who are prepared to apply graduate-level academic knowledge in professional behavioral healthcare settings while continuing to develop clinical competencies under supervision. Educational pathways for Level III interns may include, but not limited to: Master of Social Work Student, Master of Counseling Students, Master of Marriage and Family Therapies Students. Internship opportunities are based on departmental availability and supervisory capacity. Placement is not guaranteed.
