Level I internships are observation-based learning experiences designed to provide introductory exposure to behavioral health services, interdisciplinary collaboration, and professional workplace practices within a healthcare environment. This level is intended for students seeking introductory experience through observation, shadowing, and supervised participation in approved activities. Interns will gain insight into behavioral healthcare operations while developing professional communication, ethical awareness, and workplace readiness skills. Educational pathways for Level I interns may include, but not limited to: Bachelor of Social Work Students, Nursing Students. Internship opportunities are based on departmental availability and supervisory capacity. Placement is not guaranteed.
