About The Position

Dream is seeking an Intern, Site Coordinator for a 4-month summer internship starting in May 2026. This role is designed to support the Project Management team in a time-bound review of active or recently completed construction projects. The intern will gain knowledge in site audit activities, contract compliance, schedules, and documentation, assisting the team in assessing performance, identifying risks or gaps, and providing clear, organized reporting to stakeholders. Requirements

  • Working towards a diploma or degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify gaps, risks, and trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively and on time‑sensitive assignments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction site coordination, project management, or contract administration is considered an an asset
  • Experience in supporting audits, assessments, or compliance reviews is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting site observations to assess construction repair progress, methods, and quality against approved drawings, specifications, and standards
  • Assist in verifying on-site activities align with contractual obligations and project scope
  • Identify deviations, deficiencies, and risks; and escalate findings to the audit or project leadership team
  • Review construction contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and close‑out documents for completeness and compliance
  • Assist in validating that contractual milestones, deliverables, and approvals have been met
  • Organize and maintain audit-ready records and supporting documentation
  • Assess repair schedules against actual site progress
  • Support analysis of productivity, sequencing, and coordination effectiveness
  • Assist in preparing clear, concise audit findings, site review summaries, and performance reports
  • Participate in meetings with internal stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to confirm facts and clarify findings
  • Support the delivery of final audit documentation and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary audit and project team
  • Maintain objectivity, professionalism, and confidentiality throughout the audit process
  • Support adherence to health and safety standards during site visits
