About The Position

Responsible for assisting in the development, marketing, and sales of the ZFS Select Seed program and related activities, and for assisting customers in obtaining more efficient production, higher yield, and improved quality. This is not a scouting or crop consulting position. The position is full-time, up to 40 hours per week, and has no supervisory responsibilities.

The role includes promoting ZFS Select Seed sales, assisting with sales and the non-GMO program, and following procedures and policies to meet CERT-ID EU non-GMO certification requirements. It also supports on-time delivery, returns and supply inventory management, summer visits and assessments, end-of-year seed reconciliation, and Farm Surveys.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an agriculture-related degree program, such as Ag Business or Crop Science.
• Less than 3 years of experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable hauling a 16-foot deck-over trailer.
• Ability to maintain good attendance habits.
• Own transportation to and from the worksite; most work locations are in areas without public transportation.
• Ability to build relationships and work well in a team-based environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented.
• Ability to manage deadlines while focusing on details.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills for data acquisition and record-keeping, including Microsoft Suite programs.
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and adapt to change.
• Ability to comply with relevant company SOPs and safety, quality, environmental, and HR policies.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, bend, and stoop, and occasionally lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Visual acuity for reading and data entry.
• Analytical thinking, communication, organization, problem-solving, and people skills.

Nice To Haves

• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required; candidates must be able to obtain a forklift license.

Responsibilities
