About The Position

Homes for Good is seeking a Resident Services Intern for 2026, open exclusively to current Homes for Good Residents and Participants. This internship offers hands-on experience in providing services to residents in low-income communities, working alongside the Resident Services team to complete work requests and maintain grounds and buildings. The internship is designed to last 3-6 months during the Spring and Summer, with flexible start and end dates. Interns will be scheduled for approximately 10-15 hours per week. Homes for Good Housing Agency is a public housing authority in Eugene, Oregon, dedicated to helping low-income residents access and maintain affordable housing. Requirements

  • Must be a current Homes for Good Resident or Participant.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a variety of day-to-day tasks as required to assist Resident Services in the delivery of services to housing communities.
  • Support Extra Helpings, Senior Grocery and Summer Lunch food distribution programs.
  • Support transportation of food from FFLC to community sites and assist with loading and unloading as needed.
  • Assist Resident Services staff in coordinating community events and programs.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining community rooms and services spaces.
  • Complete required documentation and reports in compliance with program requirements.
  • Distribution and posting of notices, newsletters, and other communications.
  • Professional communication between staff, residents and community partners.
