Intern - RDA Application Engineer

Micron Technology•Boise, ID
•Onsite

About The Position

Micron Technology’s RAM (RDA and Metrology) group develops advanced process control and precision measurement techniques for semiconductor manufacturing, including defect detection, inline metrology, and signal analysis. The group uses statistical methodologies, automation systems, and AI-enabled analytics to improve process stability and product quality and support next-generation memory technologies. The intern will join the RAM team in Boise, Idaho, for a three-month internship focused on in-fab measurement performance, RDA signal analysis, process control optimization, and practical use of AI tools in manufacturing. The intern will receive training for safe and effective participation in cleanroom fabrication environments and will complete an assigned project spanning the internship. The project’s findings will be presented verbally near the end of the internship, including how AI was used and its impact.
