Intern - Public Relations
About The Position
The Brand Amp is an integrated marketing communications agency offering Public Relations, Social Media, Video Content Production, Graphic Design, Influencer Marketing, Brand Narrative Development and Event Marketing. We serve a variety of dynamic clients across a multitude of industries such as DIRECTV, Polaris, Traeger and Carl’s Jr. We are looking for an ambitious intern to work with our PR team in Atlanta. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to learn and to grow as the intern will benefit from hands-on experience and learning. Candidate should be willing to learn every aspect of public relations and marketing and have a positive attitude and ability to do whatever is needed to get the job done. This excellent opportunity is for a current student and last from June to August and is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. This is a paid internship and can count towards a college credit.
Requirements
- Current student - PR, Marketing, English, Journalism
- Excellent writing skills
- Must be able to work at least 40 hours a week
- Must have a valid Driver’s License, own transportation and ability to run errands
Responsibilities
- Work hand in hand with public relations team
- Pitch clients to media and keep detailed status reports
- Do research on media and products as needed
- Write letters and correspondence to media and clients
- Ability to work with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PP & Outlook)
- (Intern will be provided with direction and training)
