About The Position

Temenos is looking for a student UX/Product Design Intern to support our Product Design team within a leading core banking technology company. This role offers hands-on experience designing user-centered digital banking products used by financial institutions around the world. It is ideal for students interested in UX design, fintech, and creating intuitive, accessible software experiences.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a university student in UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in UX design, product design, or digital experiences.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of user-centered design principles and usability concepts.
  • Attention to detail with a strong sense of layout, visual design, and consistency.
  • Ability to communicate ideas clearly and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Support UX designers in creating user-centered designs for core banking and financial products.
  • Assist with user research activities, including gathering insights, analyzing feedback, and documenting findings.
  • Help design and iterate on wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and other designers to understand user and business requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining and applying design systems, UI standards, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Participate in design reviews, sprint meetings, and team discussions.
  • Help prepare design documentation and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Support usability testing and contribute to improving user experience and consistency across products.
