About The Position

Stan AI is seeking a UI/UX Designer with frontend development skills to enhance the user experience of their AI-powered property management platform. This role involves a blend of product design and frontend engineering, focusing on owning the design system, collaborating with product and engineering teams, and implementing designs using React. The designer will be responsible for creating intuitive interfaces for property managers, tenants, and internal operations teams, not only by creating mockups but also by implementing components in React, monitoring design performance in production, and iterating based on user feedback.

Requirements

3+ years of UI/UX design experience in digital product, web, or SaaS.
Strong portfolio demonstrating product design work, user research, and design systems.
Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React, including building components, understanding component patterns, and effective communication with engineers.
Understanding of responsive design and mobile-first principles.
Experience designing for complex workflows or B2B products.
Excellent communication skills for explaining design decisions and collaborating across teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience in property management, operations software, or related B2B SaaS.
Hands-on HTML/CSS skills in addition to React.
Experience building or maintaining a design system.
User research and testing experience (usability testing, interviews, analytics).
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Experience working with product managers and engineers in an agile environment.
Familiarity with Stan Ai's tech stack (React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS).
Experience designing for AI-powered features or LLM interfaces.
Previous startup or fast-moving environment experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the UX for new features and product areas, including conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and advocating for user needs in technical discussions.
Build and maintain the company's design system and component library to ensure product consistency and ease of implementation for engineers.
Implement designs directly in React for key features and components, working alongside engineers rather than just handing off specifications.
Design and implement micro-interactions, animations, and transitions.
Champion inclusive design practices and ensure the product's usability for all users.
Test designs with users, gather feedback, and iterate quickly, measuring the design's impact on user behavior and product metrics.
Manage Figma files, design tokens, documentation, and handoff processes to facilitate rapid engineering progress.
