About The Position

Provides technical assistance under the direction of a registered nurse for a defined group of patients to achieve quality patient outcomes. Provides service functions and communicates with staff, patients, and guests. Performs other duties as assigned.

The graduate nurse may remain in the Nurse Intern II job category for no longer than 45 days from the date of graduation while awaiting licensure.

Requirements

• Graduate of a registered nursing program and awaiting licensure.
• Computer literacy.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Contribute to the development of a plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Implement the plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Evaluate the plan of care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Provide patient care and assistance to nursing staff as directed.
• Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery.
• Build knowledge regarding clinical leadership.
• Participate in ongoing educational activities.
• Complete assigned goals.
• Provide service functions and communicate with staff, patients, and guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
