About The Position
This internship offers mentorship, training, and meaningful, hands-on work that helps you build confidence, develop new skills, and take real steps toward your career goals. As an intern with Textron, you’ll gain hands-on experience while exploring your interests and building new skills. You’ll be supported and challenged to contribute in meaningful ways – working on real projects alongside experienced professionals to prepare for future success. In this role, you will be responsible for support of the manufacturing engineering, tool design, and tool room teams with ongoing or new projects, as well as support of the shop floor including production supervision.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a B.S. or M.S. in an accredited engineering program
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with PowerPoint and Access
- You will not now, or in the future, require sponsorship (i.e. H-1B visa, etc.) to legally work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with machining, CNC programming, manufacturing processes a plus
Responsibilities
- Support of the manufacturing engineering, tool design, and tool room teams with ongoing or new projects
