About The Position

Aon is looking for an Intern Analyst, Investment Consulting in Toronto. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This role is not eligible for sponsorship, and we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa or work permit. The hourly salary range for this position is $26.51 - $32.72. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity. As a crucial team member of a small local team, and large national team, you will service existing clients and prospects with specialized institutional investment consulting. Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Finance or Economics.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare performance monitoring reports for institutional clients which includes: Gathering qualitative and quantitative data from external managers, custodians and other data providers; Calculate performance statistics; Create and modify charts and tables; Draft investment manager performance commentary; Draft emails and letters in collaboration with consultants and peers; Work with a variety of investment excel-based tools; Peer review work performed by other analysts; Prepare presentations on investment topics (e.g. investment manager selection, investment manager structure); Conduct searches for investment managers or CAP providers; Review and amend governance documents (e.g. statement of investment policies and procedures); Support experienced analysts and consultants in all aspects of work servicing clients and prospects; Keep up to date about current financial events and news; Participate in internal seminars regarding current industry issues and technical training.
