About The Position

Erie Insurance is seeking Claims Interns for its Future Focus Internship Program. The internship provides challenging, real-world business experience, company and insurance-industry orientation, a personal mentor, educational and networking activities, and opportunities to participate in social and community service events. Relocation assistance may be available to qualifying candidates. The intern works under close supervision and performs functional duties and special projects for the assigned division. Based at the Kentucky Branch Office in Lexington, the intern supports the Property Claims area and gains exposure to how property losses are investigated, evaluated, and resolved, and how the team supports customers throughout the claims process. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pursuit of a bachelor's degree, with sophomore year completed, in a relevant field.
Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university in a four-year degree or master's degree program full-time.
For four-year degree students, be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year, with graduation expected from spring 2027 through spring 2029.

Nice To Haves

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
Conduct research, gather information, and assist in creating presentations as required.
Analyze data and report findings.
Verify and enter data into the appropriate system and update electronic files.
Provide clerical and administrative support as needed.
Complete special projects as required.
