ADB is seeking a motivated and passionate Intern to support the HR & Recruiting team in day-to-day functions of the department. During the internship the goal is to build upon your educational knowledge and develop the skills and experience needed to be successful in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a GPA of 2.5 or higher with a strong work ethic and ALL IN attitude to achieve results.

  • 2.5 or higher GPA required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct weekly audits on new hire enrollments, billing invoices, I-9s, and HRIS data
  • Participate and present during new hire orientation
  • Assist the Benefits Manager in creating a presentation for open enrollment and benefit enrichment slides for safety meetings
  • Partner with the HR Assistant and conduct new hire check in’s, exit interviews, nationwide drug testing etc.
  • Assist with managing the anniversary program (audits, ordering supplies, vendor calls etc.)
  • Shadow the HR Business Partner on employee relation issues
  • Track and follow up with team members regarding Leave of Absence
  • Assist the HR Business Partner on compensation analysis and presentation
  • Assist with database cleanup in preparation for implementation of a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Prepare for and support hosting open interviews nationwide
  • Attend and assist of job fairs virtually and in the surrounding area
  • Assist the Executive Assistant, Recruiting with ADB’s mid-year Washer Tournament
  • Attend weekly safety meetings to discuss the ongoing monthly Referral Program
  • Perform other position duties when requested
