About The Position

The Compliance & Government Property Intern assists with compliance, government property management, reporting, and process improvement activities while gaining familiarity with applicable company and government requirements. Domestic travel may be required.

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite computer skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Adherence to ISO and OSHA policies established by FMG and high values for safety awareness
  • High School diploma or equivalent and enrolled in a university or college with a goal of achieving a degree

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data entry, transfer and disposition processes, identifying discrepancies or areas of concern, and supporting corrective actions
  • Support audits, inspections, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives related to compliance and government property requirements
  • Interact with various departments of the organization to support compliance objectives and ensure accurate accountability of government property
  • Other duties may be assigned
