About The Position

Stanley Black & Decker offers an internship program designed to provide valuable insights into supporting the company's needs both in the US and abroad. Throughout the internship, participants will engage in regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training. This program offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker, build a cross-functional professional network, and develop core professional skills. Interns are expected to be adaptable, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate creativity and confidence, and be team-oriented and collaborative.

Requirements

  • Rising Senior, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Analytics/Planning, or other related majors.
  • Interest in a leadership rotational program, which requires a willingness to relocate to business locations within the same region.
  • Demonstrated leadership values & behaviors, and core professional skills such as problem-solving, initiative, communication, teamwork/collaboration.
  • Passion and curiosity for the function and industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and build relationships.
  • Must show proof of citizenship and/or legal work authorization within the region/country where you are applying.
  • English proficiency – native or bilingual fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Support the global supply chain team with key activities.
  • Leverage world-class expertise in planning, sourcing, making, and delivering tools, outdoor equipment, and industrial solutions.
  • Build core professional skills and competencies in areas like Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and/or Distribution.
  • Assist with documenting, testing, and training for new or enhanced reports.
  • Participate in sales & operations planning, capacity planning, and team meetings.
  • Gain exposure to basic BW, SAP, JDA, business objectives, and vendor central systems functionally.
  • Work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross-functional team.
