About The Position

Throughout your internship, you will have regular events, weekly lunch and learn sessions, and receive customized training from our business units. This is a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into supporting the needs of Stanley Black & Decker both in the US and abroad. The interns will gain first-hand exposure to Stanley Black & Decker and have the opportunity to build a cross-functional professional network. Interns are expected to adapt to change and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, and confidence. Interns must be team-oriented and collaborative. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to support the global supply chain team with key activities including: Leveraging world-class expertise in how we plan, source, make a deliver the world’s leading tools, outdoor equipment and industrial solutions. Build core professional skills and competencies in areas like Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and/or Distribution. Assist with documenting, testing, and training for new reports or enhancement of existing reports. Participate in sales & operations planning, capacity planning, and team meetings. Gain exposure to basic BW, SAP, JDA, business objectives, and vendor central systems functionally. You will have exposure to several areas of the Global Supply Chain function at Stanley Black & Decker. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and projects with a cross-functional team of professionals, including Supply Chain Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and/or Distribution.

Requirements

  • Rising Senior, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Analytics/Planning, or other related majors.
  • Interest in a leadership rotational program, which requires a willingness to relocate to business location within the same region.
  • Demonstrated leadership values & behaviors, and core professional skills such as problem-solving, initiative, communication, teamwork/collaboration.
  • Passion and curiosity for function and industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and build relationships.
  • Must show proof of citizenship and/or legal work authorization within the region/country where you are applying.
  • English proficiency – native or bilingual fluency
