About The Position
Royal Caribbean Group’s award-winning 10-week paid summer internship program offers meaningful, hands-on experience from day one. Interns are embedded within teams, contribute to real business priorities, and take ownership of projects that make an impact across the organization. The program provides practical experience, professional networking, and career-development opportunities, alongside executive leadership talks, a community service day, social events with the intern community, and professional development sessions. Global Enterprise Technology (GET) powers and supports technology across Royal Caribbean Group, helping ensure systems are secure, reliable, and able to support shoreside and shipboard operations. Its areas include IT strategy and operations, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, data and AI, technology products, and systems integration. GET teams build technology solutions for employees, crew, and the guest experience while driving innovation. Sample teams hiring interns include Commercial Products, Enterprise Products, Digital Engineering, Shipboard Engineering, and Cybersecurity. The internship runs from June 1 through August 6, 2027. It is based in Miramar, South Florida, with work in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
Requirements
- Rising senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Cybersecurity, with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Available to work in South Florida from June through August 2027, in the office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays.
- Strong attention to detail and an interest in maritime operations, safety, or environmental compliance.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis; immigration sponsorship is not offered.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborative mindset, passion for learning, and enthusiasm for Royal Caribbean Group.
