About The Position

Clarins group, a global leader in skincare and make-up, is seeking an Intern for its Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team in New York, NY. This role supports the business by providing analysis and insights to drive informed decisions, aiming for financial goals and long-term stability and profitability. The intern will contribute to the group's strategy pillars, manage the P&L, and support E-Commerce, CRM, and media scopes, focusing on improving financial performance and fostering a ROI mindset.

Requirements

0-2 years prior experience in a financial role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Very strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, LOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
Able to quickly learn new systems and tools.
Curious, with the desire to constantly learn.
Highly driven, self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical and has strong problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to organize and prioritize workload while managing to meet deadlines.
Available to work a minimum of 30-35 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months.
Available to come onsite to our NYC office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

Assist the FP&A team with monthly sales and P&L reporting, analysis, and planning.
Provide support to business partners through the monthly actuals and budgeting processes.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to finance and business teams.
Extract and analyze data from multiple datasets.
Drive continuous improvement through developing and maintaining reports and processes.
Assist with ad-hoc projects and other tasks as needed.
