About The Position

The purpose of this internship is to assist Finance in a number of projects and to provide a learning platform in a business setting.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to management and cross functional team members
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and organize/prioritize job assignments and tasks
• Ability to take work direction as a learning opportunity
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma required
• Enrolled in an accredited college program

Responsibilities

• General accounting activities such as account reconciliation, consolidating and analyzing financial data, cost accounting, research, and financial reporting
• Contributing to business cases which analyze investment opportunities
• Supporting budget and forecast processes
• Supporting internal and external audit
• Participate in intern class activities
• Work on special projects as assigned
