Finance Intern
About The Position
Danaher's Corporate Finance and Investor Relations Team, based in Washington D.C, is looking for outstanding college students majoring in Accounting, Finance or other related field for their internship program. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience working on various projects. This internship will report to the Corporate Finance, Planning & Analysis function at Danaher Corporation. This individual will act as a finance business partner across the G&A organization including Finance, Legal, IT, DBS, Investor Relations and Tax. This candidate will support the forecasting processes for corporate functional leadership. There will be additional involvement with special projects as needed. The intern will learn financial analysis using Power BI, Onestream (including Excel add-in), Excel, corporate forecasting processes and reporting, report writing and preparation, presentation preparation for reviewing results with senior leaders, variance analysis of key financial metrics/results, and special projects such as budget projects, headcount projects, and G&A deep dives.
Requirements
- Enrolled in Finance, Accounting, or similar Major
- Strong financial analysis skills and basic accounting background
- Good analytical and decision-making skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Undergrad in Business/Finance/Accounting Majors preferred but not required
- A minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
- Demonstrated teamwork and leadership through extracurricular activities
Responsibilities
