About The Position

ECC is seeking a Construction Estimating Intern. As an Intern, you will work alongside highly skilled Estimating professionals and be exposed to all functions of the estimating department.

Requirements

• Interest in the construction industry
• Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision and following specific instructions, performs basic duties in support of the department
• Learn our systems (RFP tool, on-screen takeoff, EZ Cost and Leveling Sheets)
• Create subcontractor call sheets
• Make subcontractor calls
• May attend site walks
• Participate in quantity takeoffs
• Participate in reviews
• May be assigned to complete special projects
• Work with IT when needed
• Work with Marketing when needed
