Intern - Estimating

About The Position

ECC is seeking a Construction Estimating Intern. As an Intern, you will work along side highly skilled Estimating professionals and be exposed to all functions of the estimating department.

Requirements

Interest in the construction industry
Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Basis knowledge in related field

Responsibilities

Under close supervision and following specific instructions, performs basic duties in support of the department
Learn our systems (RFP tool, on-screen takeoff, EZ Cost and Leveling Sheets)
Create subcontractor call sheets
Make subcontractor calls
May attend site walks
Participate in quantity takeoff’s
Participate in reviews
May be assigned to complete special projects
Work with IT when needed
Work with Marketing when needed
In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position
