About The Position

As an intern in the Dry Etch Equipment Development Engineering group at Micron, you will gain hands-on experience in developing, crafting, and optimizing plasma etch equipment for Micron's groundbreaking memory parts. Together, we will tackle ambitious technical problems to further develop innovative equipment to enable the Micron product roadmap. This position requires that you have a strong curiosity about engineering problem solving and innovation, and the skills to work both independently and in a team. We strive to provide an immersive experience into semiconductor dry etch hardware development.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a career in semiconductor industry and working towards a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D in Engineering or a related Science field (Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
  • Must be a current student, and cannot graduate before September 2027.
  • An electromechanical or hardware-derived work history/education with an understanding of semiconductor equipment.
  • Strong digital literacy with the ability to quickly learn new programs, responsibly use AI-enabled tools, and apply data analysis to support guided technical decisions.

  • Solving sophisticated engineering problems related to plasma etch hardware.
