About The Position

This intern will gain invaluable experience as a data scientist working with best-in-class data scientists in the banking business. Duties of this position include the development of statistical analysis, queries, prediction and presentation of consumer behavior, profitability and campaigns using experimental design. The intern also assists with other special projects within the Data Analytics team. The summer internship session will begin on Tuesday, May 18, 2027, and will run for 11 weeks, ending on Friday, July 30, 2027. Internships are paid, full-time opportunities with a Monday through Friday work schedule.

Requirements

Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

Prefer a sophomore/junior with a Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related major.
R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or similar computer programming is preferred.

Responsibilities

Write efficient data queries to varied types of products and customer analysis.
Analyze, update, and compile customer behavior and profitability analysis reports.
Compile data analysis and reporting for data scientists.
Compile campaign analysis for marketing campaigns.
Present data analysis summary results to team members and business line leadership.
Perform other duties as assigned.
