Gain hands-on experience in areas such as marketing, human resources, information technology, sales, operations, finance, logistics, business development, merchandising, and/or other departments. This role involves preparing and delivering insights and recommendations based on analyses, producing findings and drawing conclusions, and making oral and written recommendations to management. The intern will execute tasks directly related to functional projects and/or process improvements, and communicate issues and roadblocks related to their areas of responsibility. They may also assist in research or special projects in a variety of areas to fulfill business initiatives and meet business objectives. The work is performed in compliance with established procedures and protocols, identifying and resolving readily identifiable, clearly defined problems. The role requires skill in data analysis and techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information and inconsistencies/anomalies in routine research/data. The nature of the work requires general supervision, with the intern exercising judgment. They may be paired with a mentor, and the work typically involves regular process checks or review of output by a coworker and/or supervisor. The intern may also provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel.
