About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Corporate Intern for our office in Astoria, NY. This internship provides hands-on experience identifying cost-saving opportunities, analyzing operational expenses, and supporting efforts to recover and optimize company spend. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to review processes, track recoverable costs, and contribute to projects that directly impact the company’s financial performance. Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Must have a reliable form of transportation

Responsibilities

Conduct reviews to identify unbilled costs, or inaccurate billing
Compare invoices to contracts, purchase orders, and scope of work deliverables to maximize billing recovery
Prepare account reviews with a focus on account revenue and GP trends, present to Account Management and Operations
Assist with establishing and managing procedures for tracking billable incidents
Review and update billing contract line items
Assist with tracking of project costing
Perform administrative tasks as needed
