Intern - Corporate Legal
About The Position
Lyten is seeking a Corporate Legal Intern to support the legal team with corporate governance, compliance, entity management, and stockholder-related matters. This internship will contribute to improving organization, responsiveness, and efficiency across corporate legal operations and stockholder support processes. The internship will run for 12 weeks, including onboarding, governance and compliance support work, stockholder request management assistance, and a final presentation. The capstone project will focus on Corporate Governance and Stockholder Process Improvement to enhance tracking, documentation, and response workflows.
Requirements
- Current 1st, 2nd or 3rd year law student
- Able to lift 20-30 lbs.
- Able to stand for up to 5 hours
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining corporate records, compliance trackers, governance documentation.
- Supporting stockholder requests and responses related to stock transfers and stock sale inquiries.
- Conduct legal research and support internal governance and compliance initiatives.
