Requirements

Meaningful experience as a legal professional in the candidate’s home jurisdiction.
LL.M. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
Willingness and ability to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges.
Sound judgment, including recognizing when to seek guidance and how to identify and resolve legal issues effectively.
Cooperative attitude and enthusiasm for working with cross‑functional and cross‑border teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including joint development, distribution, vendor, sales and logistics, services, IP licensing, partnership, and other agreements.
Advise business teams on diverse legal matters, including intellectual property, corporate governance, commercial law, competition/antitrust, and other legal and regulatory issues.
Collaborate with members of Renesas’ global Legal team to develop and implement best practices and policies related to contracting, licensing, and compliance.
Support special projects across various functions and organizational levels within Renesas.
