About The Position

InterDigital’s Corporate Development and Strategy team is seeking an intern to support corporate development activity across a wide range of projects. The intern will contribute to day-to-day work, including company and market research, financial modeling and analysis, and transactional support. Projects may also involve researching and analyzing corporate, financial, patent, and legal information to support proactive efforts. The role calls for someone who can work independently, define project requirements in line with the group’s goals, and develop creative solutions using available technology and tools.

Requirements

• Ability to track, prioritize, and drive multiple concurrent projects to completion in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills to generate ideas, identify trends, and communicate the business impact of findings to internal stakeholders.
• Ability and willingness to learn quickly.
• Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for creative problem-solving and process improvement.
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior in a bachelor’s degree program, or enrolled in a master’s degree program, in business, finance, engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Corporate Development and Strategy team with projects relating to business development, mergers and acquisitions, strategic intelligence, and corporate strategy.
• Research partnerships and new products.
• Source and present potential mergers and acquisitions opportunities.
• Conduct customer and market analysis.
• Prepare quarterly board update materials.
• Participate in strategy and analytics projects with other InterDigital departments as needed.
• Take ownership of aspects of high-impact projects involving stakeholders such as business unit leads and executive management.
• Present portions of work to senior leaders and executive management when appropriate.
